Ruta de Embalses
oriente · facil · 1-2 días
The heart of this route is Piedra del Peñol, a 220-meter monolith with 740 steps to the top, overlooking the Peñol-Guatapé reservoir winding through the mountains. Guatapé rounds out the trip with its colorful houses and hand-painted zócalos, while the 6,365-hectare reservoir is ideal for boat rides or jet skiing. About 77 km from Medellín via Marinilla, it's the most accessible route for a day trip or weekend getaway.
